Newsprint stock

I have printed a net onto a newsprint stock for a test, the artwork has print clear and the colour is vibrant however when making the net into the box i found that the stock is too thin and would not be ideal for holding the product and contents.

To gain for of a textured look and feel i have printed onto news print, although it gave the appropriate texture i want the stock is far to thin to package my product.
